The American Fertility Association offers this FREE one-hour telephone presentation and discussion class which will include:
- The facts about fertility
- The ABC’s of freezing your eggs
- Pros and cons to consider in making this decision
- Questions to ask your reproductive endocrinologist to help you in making an informed decision
- Information to help optimize your current and future reproductive health
- The opportunity to share your thoughts in considering this important decision

Joann Paley Galst, Ph.D. is a psychologist and coach in private practice in New York City specializing in reproductive health issues. She is a past Chair of the Mental Health Professional Group of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and currently is Chair of the Mental Health Advisory Council and Co-Director of Support Services of the American Fertility Association. She has written numerous articles on reproductive health including, What’s a Young Woman To Do? The Pros and Cons of Social Egg Freezing, and is co-author of, Ethical Dilemmas in Fertility Counseling, published by the American Psychological Association.
Izetta Siegal Stern, LCSW works with a wide range of issues in her general practice. For 25 years she has counseled individuals and couples facing fertility challenges. Ms. Stern has facilitated support groups in NYC for the American Fertility Association since the organization’s inception and prior to that in other settings. She addresses issues pertaining to stress reduction, becoming an empowered self-advocate and how to navigate decision-making steps involved in fertility treatment and family building. For the past year, Ms. Stern has facilitated a support group for women who are egg freezing.
