My Brag

My Brag January 2014

I'm sitting here getting ready to pop on a plane and attend Path2Parenthood's staff retreat in NYC. Of course, my husband has a double ear infection, my daughter is feeling fluish and our dog Cooper has some kind of goop coming out of his eyes. Not to mention the 14-inches of snow that will be greeting me upon landing and, being a Southern girl, my lack of good winter gear. I guess you could say that, as a Path2Parenthood staffer, I live a glamorous life.

There's always a lot of work to do, but I'm fine with that, really. Which sort of leads me to why I'm writing the editor's message in this month's issue of Connect. Path2Parenthood is a unique organization, well worth the plane trip (I hate to fly) and mandatory purchase of snow boots. I get to share ideas with the extraordinary people I work with and our dedicated board and then, turn those ideas into action which supports people who are on their path to having a child. Many of those ideas came to fruition in this year's edition of our Infertility & Adoption Guide. Some of you will remember this publication as our annual Directory in years past, but I'm proud to have been the key creative on this new, fresh edition. It's my brag. And I wanted to share it with you. Want a copy? It's free, all you need to do is ask. And of course, if you'd rather simply browse it on line, you can do that, too.

This month's issue of Connect features another one of my fav brags, our ever-growing list of professional members. Check out one of the newest members of Path2Parenthood family, highlighted below.

Speaking of family, given what was going on with mine while I was running for that plane, made me especially proud of the work I do for Path2Parenthood. I work hard so that everyone who wants to know and experience the love of family, the good and the not-so-good, the eye goop and flu and teacher's conferences and unexpected snow days can do so. My love for my family makes me especially proud of my work and I'm so happy to share some of it here with you. Please take the time to check out what we have to offer. And as our editor loves to say, happy reading.

Member of the Month

As a not-for-profit charitable organization, Path2Parenthood relies heavily on the partnership and support of our professional members to advance our mission of helping hopeful parents create a pathway to having a child. Beginning with this issue of Connect, we will be taking one member center stage and shining a spotlight on them so you can get to know them better. Without the support of these savvy, compassionate professionals, our work simply would not be possible. We thank you all! For a full listing of our professional members, please click here.

Jacksonville Center for Reproductive Medicine

We were thrilled to welcome JCRM to our family of professional members because their reputation had preceded them. We knew that patients turning to this seasoned, professional team experience a level of care encompassing lifestyle, nutrition, and emotional support, as well as a conservative approach to treatment which takes each patient's wants, needs and finances into account. An emphasis on good old-fashioned listening and genuine caring for patients clearly shines through. Path2Parenthood is proud to welcome JCRM to our ever-growing, stellar list of professional members.
