In addition to patient/client services, CryoGam is equipped assist other reproductive facilities in providing their patient’s with long term storage options.  As ART expands to serve more patients, many clinics find that they no longer have the space, time or man-power to manage long term storage of embryos, sperm and oocytes.  CryoGam’s professional staff has extensive knowledge and experience in inventory, account management and group transfers of tissue.  CryoGam has a large inventory of LN2 Dry Shipper tanks available for personal or group use in specimen transfers and can coordinate shipments via FedEx or courier.

CryoGam’s andrology lab offers a vast array of male factor fertility testing and reproductive procedures.  For your convenience a weekend laboratory technician is available for reproductive procedures.

Directed donor processing is also available for recipients who have selected a donor personally known to them.  All directed donors complete the same screening and testing as our anonymous donors to ensure recipient safety.

Biography

Bob Bamman, LCSW, is a clinical social worker and a longstanding professional member of the Path2Parenthood-Mental Health Group.  In that capacity he has helped develop the national phone coaching group program and has facilitated workshops and coaching groups addressing the emotional challenges of infertility, assisted/donor reproduction, and adoption.

Specialized clinical training includes infertility/adoption training at the Karen Horney Institute, the Center for Family Connections (Cambridge), and the Ackerman Institute for Family Therapy.  A veteran of the infertility experience and an adoptive parent, Bob maintains a private practice located in mid-Manhattan working with couples, men, and women experiencing family building challenges.  Bob also provides adoption consultation services and New York State mandated pre-adoption Homestudy services.

Doctor Kolb  received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of California, Irvine, after which, he completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University and a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at the University of Southern California, receiving board certification in both fields.

He currently holds the position of Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Southern California School of Medicine, and is a physician specializing in the care of complex fertility problems at HRC Fertility where he serves as its medical director.  Under his guidance, he has helped improve HRC’s donor pregnancy rate to over 70% per embryo transfer in 2010. 

 

He is internationally known for his expertise in complex reproductive matters and is one of the largest providers of egg donation and surrogacy in the United States with patients traveling from over 20 countries in 2010 alone.  His practice is known for helping to develop and implementing cutting edge technologies in the genetic screening of embryos, the development of new laboratory technologies and the development of highly efficient treatment protocols.  Dr. Kolb and his co-authors recently published the largest clinically relevant IVF study.  He is in demand to share his expertise internationally and has given over 100 talks in 5 continents. What impresses us most is Doctor Kolb's passion for treating each patient personally throughout their entire course of treatment.  In addition to his high success rates, patients are impressed with his warm beside manner, compassion and his dedication.

An honors graduate of the University of Michigan, Dr. Trivax earned his medical doctorate at Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Winthrop University Hospital. Dr. Trivax completed a three-year subspecialty fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at UCLA Medical Center and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he was the recipient of the Outstanding Laparoendoscopic Award.  Dr. Trivax excels in minimally-invasive surgical treatments for the management of fibroids, endometriosis, and uterine abnormalities.

Dr. Trivax has received multiple academic honors and teaching awards.  While his passion is helping patients build families, he is very active in medical school education and residency learning.  Dr. Trivax is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stony Brook University of New York, Winthrop University Hospital, and the Brooklyn Hospital Center.

Dr. Trivax enjoys lecturing on all topics pertaining to infertility and has done so both nationally and internationally. Dr. Trivax has an extensive bibliography of publications and presentations, including critical evaluations of the Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, pre-implantation genetic diagnosis, and in-vitro fertilization.

While born and raised in Michigan, the energy, culture, and people of New York City lured him to the Big Apple.  Dr. Trivax lives on Long Island with wife, Tracy, and stays busy chasing around their five children--Landon, Lennox, Lawson, Liv, and Lake.
