Dr. Mary Riddle received her PH.D. in Clinical Health Psychology from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology of Yeshiva University in New York City. She completed her pre-doctoral clinical internship at the Postgraduate Center for Mental Health (of New York’s Psychoanalytic Institute). She completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Manhattan’s VA Hospital, where she started a women’s health collaborative with Primary Care.
Dr. Riddle has published numerous articles within the field of reproductive health and her research has been nationally recognized.
Since 2006, Dr. Riddle has been on faculty at The Pennsylvania State University in the department of Psychology. Currently she is a course author and lecturer of Psychology for Penn State University’s World Campus. She also maintains a private practice in State College, PA.
Since 2005, Dr. Riddle has served as the psychological consultant to Geisinger Medical Center’s Fertility Clinic in Danville, PA. She counsels patients and evaluates potential egg donors and gestational surrogates. She also meets with couples to help them navigate the complex issues inherent in third party reproduction.
Dr. Riddle is a member of the Mental Health Professional Group of The American Society for Reproductive Medicine. She is the past Chair of the Mental Health Professional Group as well as the past Chair of the Scientific Development Committee. She remains on the Executive Board until 2017. Dr. Riddle is on the Editorial Board of Fertility and Sterility, the medical journal of The American Society for Reproductive Medicine. Other professional affiliations include the Pennsylvania Psychological Association and the Central Pennsylvania Psychological Association.
