Biography

Stuart Bell joined Growing Generations as an owner and CEO in September of 2001. Under his leadership, the agency has more than tripled in size, serving clients from 28 countries, and is now the largest surrogacy firm in the United States. He also expanded the company’s services into egg donation and sperm donation.

Prior to joining the agency, Stuart spent over a decade in executive level positions in both profit and not-for-profit companies. As a writer with a strong emphasis on gay rights issues, his work has appeared in numerous publications over the past 20 years. Bell is the author of "Prayer Warriors," a memoir published in 1999 by Alyson publications. In February, 2008, Stuart and his husband welcomed their son into the world who was conceived through surrogacy and egg donation. He is active as a donor and volunteer with local and national organizations including currently serving as Co-Chair of the American Fertility Association. A native of Tennessee, Bell holds a degree in Communications from Middle Tennessee State University, and has lived in Los Angeles since 1992.

Biography

Dr. Willman was trained in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas in Dallas and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at UCSF. Dr. Willman is the Director of our PGD program.

Dr. Willman was one of the first female physicians to open a successful Assisted Reproductive Technology practice in the East Bay in 1992. She continued as a private practitioner in Orinda until 1999 when she merged her practice with RSC.

Biography

Suzanne B. Nichols, Esq. has practiced in the area of adoption law for almost twenty-five years.  In the last few years, she has expanded the practice to include assisted reproduction law.

She is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey. Suzanne holds an undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University, a Master’s degree in counseling from George Washington University, and a Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School.

Prior to attending law school, Suzanne worked for several years counseling individuals and families. The combination of her work experience and her educational background gives Suzanne a unique set of skills to help prospective families navigate through the often emotional process of adopting children.

Suzanne has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys since 1991. The Academy is the preeminent organization of adoption attorneys in the U.S. and Canada. Suzanne is also a member of the American Academy of Assisted Reproductive Technology Attorneys, American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association as well as national, state and local adoption educational and support groups.

As a well-known expert in the field of adoptions Suzanne is a frequent guest speaker at adoption conferences and educational workshops. She has also been the subject of various newspaper and magazine articles, and has appeared on national television and radio programs to discuss adoption issues and procedures.
