Biography

Jeannine Zoppi, Ph.D is a Clinical Psychologist licensed in New Jersey and New York. Dr. Zoppi received her doctorate from Seton Hall University and completed post-doctoral internship and fellowship training at the Karen Horney Institute. She has a private practice in Caldwell, NJ where she treats adults, adolescents and children.

Dr. Zoppi’s specialties include psychotherapy for adoption issues, trauma, PTSD, adult survivors of childhood abuse, depression and anxiety. She also provides group therapy for adoption-related issues, including an adoptive-parent support group and group therapy for adoptees. Her services include pre-adoption psychological evaluations, attachment/bonding assessments, parenting capacity evaluations and training and education for adoptive parents and adoption professionals. Dr. Zoppi has presented on the topic of adoption at various local and national conferences, including those sponsored by the National Council for Adoption, the Adoption Initiative, American Adoption Congress,  Adoptive Parents Committee and Concerned Persons for Adoption. She is actively involved in the New Jersey Psychological Association (NJPA), currently serving as 2014 NJPA President-Elect.  Dr. Zoppi is also a member of the American Psychological Association’s Leadership Institute for Women in Psychology Class of 2011-2012.

Biography

 

Joann Paley Galst is a founding member of Path2Parenthood and a former member of the Board of Directors. She is currently the Co-director of Path2Parenthood Support Services and Chair of the Path2Parenthood Mental Health Advisory Council. She is also a past Chair of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine Mental Health Professional Group.

Dr. Galst received her doctorate at Columbia University Teachers College, receiving a National Institute of Mental Health Graduate Fellowship, and obtained her undergraduate education at the University of Wisconsin where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She has taught at both the college and graduate school levels and worked as the staff psychologist at the Fertility Research Foundation. She is a licensed psychologist in New York with over 20 years of experience specializing in mind-body medicine and reproductive health issues, including infertility, pregnancy loss, and pregnancy and parenting after infertility and third party reproduction.

Judith Greenwald, MSW, LCSW, is the fertility counselor and psychotherapist for the Continuum Reproductive Center. She talks with individuals and couples, helping them deal with the life crisis of infertility, and the emotional roller coaster that they may be going through.

Judith Greenwald, MSW, LCSW, is a board-certified diplomate in clinical social work, a professional member of Path2Parenthood, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the National Association of Social Work, and the American Association for Psychoanalytic Clinical Social Work. After graduating with a Master’s of Social Work from Hunter College School of Social Work, Ms. Greenwald worked for 14 years at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center where she was a social worker, supervisor and assistant director of social work. Her areas of specialization have included women’s health, male fertility, OB/GYN, teen pregnancy, and adult and child psychiatry. She also developed a program for parents or other caregivers who have difficulty with bonding and attachment to their children from birth to four years old.

Prior to being a social worker, Ms. Greenwald was a medical journalist for Medical World News, a weekly news magazine for doctors that covered all areas of medicine. She attended the annual meetings of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, where she wrote articles specializing in women’s health, including birth control, pregnancy, gynecologic oncology, endometriosis, postpartum depression and menopause. She has also written women’s interest articles published in Harper’s Bazaar and Today’s Health.

For the last 30 years, Ms. Greenwald has been in full-time private practice as a fertility counselor and psychotherapist working with individuals and couples, helping them cope with the emotional roller coaster encountered by many people during infertility treatments. Fifteen years ago, she received her Certificate in Psychoanalysis from the National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis.
