Biography

Judith Hoechst's law practice is devoted to reproductive law. A former pediatric and neonatal intensive care nurse and medical malpractice attorney, she changed the focus of her law practice to assisted reproductive technology (ART) law after a gestational surrogate carried her son in 2004. Experienced in drafting and reviewing surrogacy contracts, egg/sperm/embryo donation contracts, obtaining parentage orders, and acting as liaison between intended parents and birth hospitals, she works diligently with her clients so that the legal process of each ART journey is completed with confidence. Judith has been admitted to the State Bars of Ohio, New Mexico and Colorado.

Biography

Judith Greenwald, MSW, LCSW, is the fertility counselor and psychotherapist for the Continuum Reproductive Center. She talks with individuals and couples, helping them deal with the life crisis of infertility, and the emotional roller coaster that they may be going through.

Judith Greenwald, MSW, LCSW, is a board-certified diplomate in clinical social work, a professional member of Path2Parenthood, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the National Association of Social Work, and the American Association for Psychoanalytic Clinical Social Work. After graduating with a Master’s of Social Work from Hunter College School of Social Work, Ms. Greenwald worked for 14 years at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center where she was a social worker, supervisor and assistant director of social work. Her areas of specialization have included women’s health, male fertility, OB/GYN, teen pregnancy, and adult and child psychiatry. She also developed a program for parents or other caregivers who have difficulty with bonding and attachment to their children from birth to four years old.

Prior to being a social worker, Ms. Greenwald was a medical journalist for Medical World News, a weekly news magazine for doctors that covered all areas of medicine. She attended the annual meetings of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, where she wrote articles specializing in women’s health, including birth control, pregnancy, gynecologic oncology, endometriosis, postpartum depression and menopause. She has also written women’s interest articles published in Harper’s Bazaar and Today’s Health.

For the last 30 years, Ms. Greenwald has been in full-time private practice as a fertility counselor and psychotherapist working with individuals and couples, helping them cope with the emotional roller coaster encountered by many people during infertility treatments. Fifteen years ago, she received her Certificate in Psychoanalysis from the National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis.

Judith Kottick, LCSW is a recognized expert in the field of reproductive counseling. She developed the psychological services components at the Institute of Reproductive Medicine and Sciences at St. Barnabas Medical Center and at Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey.

Gestational carrier and egg donor arrangements are particular areas of interest and are frequently the topics of symposiums and workshops she is invited to give in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Serving as a consultant to numerous infertility programs throughout the tri-state area, Judith currently maintains a private practice in Montclair, New Jersey. She draws upon her postgraduate training as a psychotherapist and in behavioral medicine from the Mind/Body Institute at Harvard Medical School to provide a personalized approach to helping people cope with the challenges of fertility treatment, pregnancy loss, adoption, and parenting. Involved as a mentor for Resolve Northeast region and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, Judith has written numerous articles for professional organizations, and has also contributed a chapter to the book “Frozen Dreams.”

Biography

Juergen Eisermann, MD, is the founder and Medical Director of IVFMD.  Dr. Eisermann, a graduate of the University of Munich School of Medicine, completed his fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and reproductive medicine at Washington University in Saint Louis.

Dr. Eisermann is a Voluntary Assistant Professor at the University of Miami School of Medicine.  Dr. Eisermann has been in private practice in South Florida since 1988.  He was the Medical Director of the first private medical practice IVF program in Dade County, as well as the Associate Director of the only reproductive surgery fellowship program in South Florida.  Dr. Eisermann is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Eisermann holds memberships in the Society of Reproductive Surgeons (SRS) and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), and he is a frequent world-wide lecturer and renowned authority on infertility and advanced gynecologic laparoscopy.

Julia’s foundation in the surrogacy industry is built on over a decade of professional experience. She began her career in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) in 1996, while a Business Operations Manager and ART Coordinator for a law firm which practices in adoption and infertility law. During that time, she managed the legal and financial aspects of hundreds of egg donation and surrogacy related cases working with couples and individuals from all over the world. In 2005 Julia was able to expand her knowledge and experience when she started A Center for Coastal Conceptions, an agency assisting couples and individuals with surrogacy and egg donation. While her focus has now shifted exclusively to surrogate parenting, Julia’s philosophy of quality, affordable services and personalized care have never changed.
